Inspired by the Mode Gakuem Cocoon Tower in Tokyo the inspiration is clear. The pattern replicates the surrounding criss-cross metal structure that covers the building. By using a two-tone weave in a dramatic black and white the fabric design re-creates the intricate details of the building. Created as a 2 button classic jacket all the elements have been kept simple to give an elegant and refined look.

The Mode Gakuen Tower stands over 200m above the heart of the Shinjuku area of Tokyo. Aptly named the Cocoon tower as the outer metal structure forms a protective surround of the centre building. We have recreated the criss-cross pattern of the metal within the fabric design by using a two-tone weave in a dramatic black and white combination.
