The Setting: Inside The Columbia
Built in 1856 as a series of five Victorian townhouses, The Columbia is a place where time seems to move with intention. Once elegant private residences and later a discreet haven for travellers, artists and musicians — including Amy Winehouse, Iggy Pop and Kings of Leon — the hotel has long existed at the crossroads of culture and creativity. The band Oasis even named their track “Columbia” after time spent here, a poetic reflection of how this quietly iconic address has inspired moments that transcend its walls.
This dialogue between heritage and creative energy mirrors the very essence of Scabal. The brand has always been defined by exceptional craftsmanship, dressing artists, cultural figures and modern visionaries while continually evolving with the rhythm of its time. Choosing The Columbia as the setting for our Spring–Summer 2026 collection was therefore instinctive — a meeting of two worlds where tradition meets contemporary elegance, and where authenticity becomes the ultimate expression of luxury.
