The Scabal Guide to Coat Maintenance

A meticulously crafted suit is an investment in style and confidence. Proper care ensures it remains impeccable for years. Follow these steps to maintain the pristine condition of your Scabal suit:

1. Use a Sturdy Hanger

Select a wide, robust wooden hanger to support your coat's shoulders and preserve its silhouette.

2. Allow It to Rest

After wearing, let your coat rest for at least 24 hours before storing. This allows the fabric to breathe and return to its natural shape.

3. Brush Regularly

Gently brush your coat with a soft-bristled garment brush to remove surface dirt and lint, keeping the fabric clean and fresh.

4. Steam to Refresh

Use a steamer to eliminate wrinkles and refresh the fabric. Avoid ironing directly, as it can damage delicate fibers.

5. Store Properly

Store your coat in a breathable garment bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct light. This protects it from dust, moths, and moisture, ensuring longevity.
