Keeping Shirts Impeccable
Scabal shirts are designed with refined craftsmanship and premium fabrics to offer everyday elegance and lasting comfort. To preserve their impeccable finish and prolong their life, we recommend the following care practices:

1. Handle with Care
When removing your shirt, unbutton all closures—including the cuffs and collar—to avoid stretching the fabric or seams. Always check the care label before washing, especially for fine cotton or blends with silk or stretch.

2. Wash Gently
For most shirts, a gentle machine wash at low temperature (30°C) is ideal. Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach or harsh chemicals that can damage fibres and affect colour. Wash similar colours together and turn shirts inside out to protect the outer surface.

3. Dry Naturally
Air drying is the best option. Hang your shirt on a wide hanger straight from the wash to reduce wrinkles. If air drying is not possible, tumble dry on a low setting to minimise shrinkage and protect the shape. Avoid high heat, as it can damage natural fibres and alter the structure of the collar and cuffs.

4. Iron with Precision
Iron while slightly damp or use a steam iron for best results. Start with the collar, then move to the cuffs and sleeves before finishing the body. For extra care, place a clean cloth between the iron and the fabric to protect delicate finishes.

5. Store Thoughtfully
Hang shirts on quality hangers to keep their shape, and fasten the top button to help maintain collar form. Give them space in your wardrobe to avoid creasing and friction from other garments.

6. Travel Smart
For minimal wrinkles on the go, fold shirts carefully along the seams or use a shirt folder. Upon arrival, hang them in a steamy bathroom or use a travel steamer to refresh the fabric before wearing.
